These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Alvara ("Alvara", "we", "us"), including the web dashboard at www.alvara.aeand our chat assistants on WhatsApp and Telegram (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Alvara is a personal finance assistant that helps you record, organize, and understand your own finances. It is a tool for personal money management and does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Decisions you make based on information in the Service are your own responsibility.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Service only for lawful, personal purposes. Access is granted by invitation during our current phase, and we may limit or revoke access that violates these Terms.

Your data

The financial information in your account belongs to you. You grant us permission to process it solely to operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can correct or delete your entries at any time, and you can request deletion of your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • Attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the Service.
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or abuse the Service or its underlying APIs.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and our AI and infrastructure providers. Your use of those channels is also subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figure or insight is accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alvara will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or the Service over time; significant changes will be communicated through the Service, and continued use means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time, and we may suspend or end access that breaches these Terms.
